Girls belonging to Tribal communities never had any opportunity to travel outside
of their native area. Many of them have not yet seen the train or post office or
even the sea which is only 50 to 70km away from their hamlets. By travelling to
other parts of the country they get familiar with variety of cultures and geographical
terrains of India. Short visit to nearby institutions like post-office, production
factories and bank informs them about services that they may use on daily basis.
